Recommended if you like:
a slow burn romance with little steaminess where the romance comes second and complicated family/sister dynamics are a focus
𝕊𝕡𝕠𝕚𝕝𝕖𝕣𝔽𝕣𝕖𝕖 Rambles 💭
I was so wrapped up initially but as the book progressed my excitement kind of diminished. I enjoyed the romance not being the main plot of the story, it kept things interesting and realistic. My favorite thing about this book is definitely Nora and her personality. I love how she’s not the stereotypical quirky, slightly submissive, female MC and she’s true to herself, her decisions, and what she wants out of life.
Likes: book references, slow burn romance, strong female character, romance is secondary in plot, grumpy/ slightly grumpier trope LOL, chemistry between characters, enemies to lovers, character development
Dislikes: lack of steaminess
