This was a beautiful book, but I wish I’d read a physical copy instead of listening to an audiobook. My own audiobook habits are a bit too distracted for literary fiction, I usually do best listening to books that are based more on vibe than plot like thrillers and romance novels. I wish I’d given this more of a chance on paper instead of half listening to it over the span of several weeks. Maybe I’ll download an ebook one day for a re-read and then I’ll feel like I can actually rate it
