I love this series! The books are just so compelling. I love getting lost in a story like that. Violent subject matter but great books for anyone who loves thrillers (and full of social commentary, too). Now I need to borrow book #3 from my mom this weekend!
My neighbor and I (who both read The [b:Girl with the Dragon Tattoo|2429135|The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium, #1)|Stieg Larsson|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1275608878s/2429135.jpg|1708725] for our book group this winter) went to see the Swedish movie based on the book this weekend. Great movie! The casting was perfect - just as I'd pictured Mikael and Lisbeth (though the actress playing Lisbeth is too tall, though perfect in every other way).
