The Poisoned City: Flint's Water and the American Urban Tragedy by Anna Clark
5.0
A must read for everyone. I think that we all have some common knowledge of what happened in Flint Michigan, but reading the breakdown of mistrust and carelessness that the people had to go through almost made me sick. It is quite hard to believe that we are living in a lifetime where injustices such as the Flint water mishandling can still occur in our current "progressive" society. It is also horrific to know that the affects of lead poisoning will be lifelong for many kids of Flint. It is a must read for everyone. It is uncomfortable to read, but so are many other important books that must be read!
