I bought vol. 8 and realized I didn't really remember what had happened in the story, so this is my second read of the first few volumes. I was immediately drawn into the story the same as the first time around. I really love this mangaka's ability to balance humor and action scenes, and the characters she creates are always complex, and it's fun to slowly peel back their layers. The sci-fi aspects of this series also give it an interesting twist. (Also - Matsunaga and Yuki on the train! That was such a nice call back!)
