Blood Bound
by Patricia Briggs
Someone needs to tell Briggs to pump the breaks on the religion. This is a world where vampires and fae and werewolves exist. Readers aren't looking for God or hoping to be saved. We're all trying to turn off reality for a second and it's hard to take the story seriously when it feels like the author is pushing her agenda.
Aside from the author's shout out to the church, and despite there being an awkward twilight-style love triangle, the story is still decent I suppose.
