At first, the book disappointed me, because I actually had no idea the book was about vampires . And since I wanted to be scared and these things don’t scare me, I was kinda frustrated. It’s not my favorite Stephen king book (misery) and it’s very slow paced, but it’s a good book. it gets really exciting by the end.
Tip: when a character appears, write down the name and what they do, because you’ll need it. In the end I had a list of over 30 characters mentioned (mostly secondary but the book has chapters for each one of them).
