This is going to sound like a typical book lover thing to say but I loved the book more than the film and I mean it.
The book had a lot more of a plot line going for it. The start of the book was a little slow but once the keys were being found the story started to get a lot more interesting. The original story that Ernest Cline wrote, I felt, actually added a lot more to my over all enjoyment of the book and when thinking back on the film, I think it would have more interesting if some of the plots was stuck to a little more.
I have read a Ready Player one sequel is in the works so I can't wait for that one to be available to buy.
