Unforgettable by Elle Spencer

4.0

I actually enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. I normally struggle a bit with short stories/novellas since most of them are really fast paced and usually very insta-lovey but for some reason I didn't mind it as much in these ones.

Both of the stories really surprised me, there was a looot of angst, more than I normally expect in a short story and I might even have shed some tears reading this.

The first story Forget Her Not is about Samantha King who wakes up in bed with a woman and doesn't remember any of it, it's her first time ever being with a woman but for some reason she feels very drawn to Mia Rossi and their story begins. I think this was my least favorite out of the two. I for some reason felt like I had read this before (which I haven't according to goodreads) so I'm really confused about that but anywho. I think I enjoyed the first half of this a lot more than the ending, I think it was just too short so everything happened really fast (which like I said before I guess is kind of expected in a short story but still).

The other story is Forget Her Never which is about Abby who's alone at a bar when a beautiful woman named Kendall offers to help her home. I really enjoyed this one, I really liked both Abby and Kendall as characters, the only problem I had is that this story involves cheating and it's a big part of the whole story. That's why I'm still surprised this was my favorite out of the two.

I am definitely gonna have to pick up some more Elle Spencer novels after this since I really enjoyed her writing. I gave this book a rating of 4 stars but if I had to rate the two stories individually I'd give Forget her Not a 2.75ish and Forget her Never a 3.75ish.
