Even with a slow pacing I was completely invested in this book. A continuation of Gideon the ninth it was confusing and in many ways left the reader in the dark, however I feel like this added to the ambiance and a drive to keep reading to get answers! 
I absolutely loved it and can't wait to start the next book!
