The Lions of Fifth Avenue
by Fiona Davis
I enjoyed this book. It read like historical fiction although it is not. I liked the way the author juxtaposed the 1913/14 characters with the 1993 characters and then drew them all together at the end. I thought her characters were fairly realistic (with a couple of exceptions) with fairly realistic faults, failings, and motivations. I was surprised to see, upon completing the book, that it had received a number of bad reviews. I enjoyed it and I’d recommend it.
