Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain
5.0
When did "Introvert" become a bad word and why do introverts feel out of place all the time?
This book answers both of those questions and more. The problem isn't you - it's everyone else trying to assert their feelings and own personal biases on to you.
I an squarely and firmly an introvert. I've know it for a long time, and when someone like Susan Cain writes a well researched and life affirming book, it makes me feel better about turning down that invitation or ignoring the phone.
Everybody (and I mean EVERYBODY) needs to read this book.
