Alana and Liam are reunited in an airport after almost 13 years of not speaking. Formerly best friends and neighbors they discover that they’re both headed home for the holidays. They quickly come up with a plot to pretend to date to keep their parents from asking too many questions about their recently ended relationships. They soon discover that there’s nothing fake about their relationship.

I LOVED this book! Liam is such a golden retriever it makes his nickname of Golden Boy redundant. I throughly enjoyed their dynamic and the author did a fabulous job of portraying just how close they used to be. The fact that they both remember the tiniest details made my heart melt! This is probably the closest to a Christmas romance I’ll read but I liked that it gave holiday vibes without shoving it in your face.
