Loveable characters:
No
Flaws of characters a main focus:
Complicated
3.5 i guess? It was fine.
This is not a grumpy x sunshine romance at all so get rid of that expectation if you want to read this!
Grumpy x whiny?
Grumpy x codependency issues?
Abandonment complex x codependency issues lol??
Whatever you call this, the characters had no chemistry with each other for the beginning, I didn't really feel like their banter was sexually-charged. Once they finally break the tension between them I liked it a little more.
I liked the non-romance plot points a lot - the final event coming together was great.
I do not think these two are good for each other, and I did not agree with most of their decisions, and most of the main characters aren't very good people at all!
However, the story was good and once I let this book be what it is, I was able to get through it and maybe even enjoy it at some parts.
