As someone who grew up reading comics, when I heard that Diana Gabaldon was coming out with a graphic novel - I flipped! I was not disappointed. That said, if you are not a fan of graphic novels, this probably won't be the most enjoyable book of the series for you.
The art was lovely and the story, a retelling of the first novel in the series but from Jamie's point of view. My only complaint is that it was hard to tell some of the characters apart, due to them being drawn very similarly and that I found some of the text hard to read (visually.)
Can't wait for the next installment and it's definitely made me want to re-read the series!
