Interesting book. Full of history which was nice but I felt bad for the main character. She never really got a happy ever after. There is potential with the way the book ended but it could just as easily go the other way. She was not lucky in love. lol. Portions of the book were pretty harsh and hard to read. I’m not sure I even felt sorry for her. Most of the men in the book are sorry!
