Honestly, this book gave me everything I wanted and more. I am an absolute sucker for when the guy falls first and harder. Give me a groveling male every single day. The juxtaposition between their two personalities is perfect. They have very different energy but are both very driven in their respective goals. I can always get behind when two people cheer each other on. I am absolute sucker for hockey-based sports romances, so not too shabby there. Overall, I really enjoyed this novel and the relationship between the characters was so well-developed.
Some cute quotes:
“There’s so much fire in every word she spits at me, it’s like watching a captivating performance.”
“Good to know. I’ll throw out all my hair ties because Aiden Crawford likes it when girls wear their hair down.” Wrapping the bandage around her ankle, I glance at her. “Not girls. You.”
“I’ve been doing a lot of things I don’t understand lately, so I’ve stopped trying to analyze them.”
“Who in their right mind holds a girl’s hair tie for weeks without having plans to use or return it? The look on her face tells me she might be thinking the same thing.”
