A Light So Lovely: The Spiritual Legacy of Madeleine L'Engle, Author of A Wrinkle in Time by Sarah Arthur

4.0

I just loved this biography focused on L’Engle’s spiritual legacy. It examines the many contrasts & paradoxes of L’Engle & her writing—from sacred and secular to science and faith. It also doesn’t shy away from some problematic aspects of L’Engle’s writing, which I found refreshing. So much of the book was a challenge to broaden our view of fiction and faith. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re interested in the spiritual dimension of L’Engle’s work.
