Hurt Me So Good by Joely Sue Burkhart

5.0

Funny, sweet, sexy story. Intelligent protagonists who each have their own baggage, but they're able to work through their personal issues like adults. (Adults with flaws, sure, but we all have those.) While Victor and Shiloh's physical relationship is graphically portrayed (with frequent use of the riding crop), what made this work for me with the time and importance they both placed on having honest, respectful communication. I feel like the potential JSB has shown in some of her earlier works is finally being met, which makes me really look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
