I’ve been waiting for this story ever since the novella dropped—and let me tell you, Scarlett and the Kiss Thief did not disappoint when it came to sweet teen angst and that delicious dose of mystery. If you're a fan of masked kisses, anonymous texts, and a heroine who’s finally ready to claim her spotlight, this one's for you!
Scarlett is the kind of character you root for from page one—relatable, awkward in the best way, and painfully aware of the heart she’s pinned on her friend Axel. And while she’s hoping a summer glow-up will finally make him see her, fate has other plans… starting with a stolen kiss in a dark closet that throws her entire world upside down. 👀💋
I don’t typically gravitate toward low-spice, younger YA reads, but this one held my attention with the tension, charm, and of course—the mystery kiss thief. Was it Axel? Someone new? The guessing game is half the fun here, and even though I found myself craving a little more screen time with the mystery guy (the party had a bit too much Jacob drama for my taste), the ride was still really enjoyable.
💥 Shoutout to SOPHIE—this girl owned every scene she was in! Total firecracker. When she’s getting her own story, consider me first in line.
In short: Scarlett and the Kiss Thief is a cute, fast-paced, low-drama mystery romance perfect for fans of football teams, friendship tension, and the magic of a first kiss. A lovely choice for readers looking to dip into something fun and flirty—without diving into the deep end of spice.
📖 Add it to your TBR if you love:
✔️ Best Friends to Something More
✔️ Anonymous Crushes
✔️ Football Boy Drama
✔️ Wholesome Romance with a Side of Sass
