Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

4.5

I loved Mockingjay! This novel had slower moments and less action than The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. However, Mockingjay was way more intense. I enjoyed the war, rebellion, and all the high emotions. Collins dived deep into trauma, propaganda, grief, and healing! This novel will compel you to reflect on war and all its horrors. War benefits no one. Ultimately, every side loses something or someone. Overall, this trilogy was amazing. I can't wait to reread it ten times. I know many people disliked the ending. I'm delighted to say I adored the ending. I actually screamed!
