Another fine installment involving a possession conspiracy, a serial killer conclave, and a hearing to determine the fate of Rafi and Asmodeus. I’ve always loved the way this series manages to juggle its many balls in the air, while also tying the plot threads together like any great noir story does.

I especially like how they keep adding nuances to Juliet’s character. That’s why this was a favorite installment upon the initial read and why it’s still a favorite on the re-read.
