This was so healing oh my god. I feel like this book personally wrapped a soft blanket around me, pushed a cup of hot cocoa into my hands, and kissed my forehead. This was a beautiful, reassuring bright spot in the dumpster fire that was 2020.

I'm so overwhelmed by how much I loved this. I love the children (which I never love in fiction but in here I fell in love with them just as soundly as Linus did). I love how weird it is. I love how chaotic the dialogue is - I genuinely laughed a few times. And not only am I always thirsty for good mlm rep but this? We have a middle aged man who's overweight and balding but you know what? It doesn't matter because he's still desirable and deserving of love. I don't know, I'm a mess. I feel like the only serotonin I've had in months came from this book and I'm 100% sure I'll be rereading it a lot.
