Wow. I don’t know what to feel about this book. Read it as a start to my reading more translated work project.

I am not sure how I have been finding all these books examining all the layers that is motherhood. This is one that examines the lack of motherhood- or the craving of motherhood and the trauma it can do to a woman. It is a very short story: short, blunt, beautifully written, but also a bit disturbing.

Happy to have read it, but am pretty depressed now - and I am very much over having books featuring themes of motherhood and animal deaths thankie. Time for something else
