i listened to this as an audio book and the quality wasn't amazing but i had an enjoyable tim nevertheless.
i liked the german sentences and words throughout the book even though i can imagine how this could be weird. but since i am german it made the book more interesting to me by hearing the authors translation of those words into english and comparing that to my own understanding of those words.
this is not the first book about nazi germany that i've read but it was definitly a good one.
i didn't really like the parts that were looking into the future because those spoiled the book for me a bit. i would have liked it more if we just heard of the events in chronological order as Liesel did.

would i recommend tthis book?
yes. to everybody who is looking for a fiction book about nazi germany.
