For me, these poems are small packages. Some burst open with meaning, clarity and feeling. Some I haven't yet been able to untangle the knot holding them together. But that might be due to life experiences. I can imagine that the poem, "Fish Counter at Bonneville" is a puzzle to readers who are not from the Pacific Northwest.
