Definitely one of Hendrix’s more abstract stories. Follow Kris (or Deidre) as she takes the journey of her life and takes back her music.
Not going to lie, Hendrix lost me a few times but I got back on track relatively fast. I wasn’t the biggest fan of how Kris thought sometimes (it all seemed to be about her), but I really liked the bits and pieces that tied all the characters together, specifically the girl and the pit bull puppy and Bobbie.
I didn’t really know why Melanie was included at first but I loved the addition of her in the end. I wish she had ended up in Kris’s life, but I love that Melanie’s story is starting the way Kris’s did.
