The Beekeeper of Aleppo by Christy Lefteri

5.0

It's cruel that Daraa currently is Aleppo reimagined.
That all the horrors refugees lived through, still live through, would be considered bliss for those stuck in the midst of the conflict.
Those inhumanely murdered at the boarders, those who lost their lives at sea, those who's entire world for buried under the rubble.

You can't recover from the horrors of war. The hideous face of tyrants and their lackeys hunts you to your last breath.
We need more books like this to remind us that we can help, that we can all make a difference, that a little kindness goes a long way, that we're all human and deserve to live.
