Much better than book 1! Still long as hell but Darien's story was much better than before, we finally saw his dark side, albeit sad. Loren... girl I know you're trying to protect people but you still annoy me. 

The love declarations were still entirely too cheesy AF and the battle was a little too Marvel superheroes.
