Vinegar Girl

Light fun. I've never read Taming of the Shrew, and probably would have liked this even more if I had, but my ignorance didn't impede my enjoyment. Kate, a 29 yo college drop (expelled because of an argument with a prof. over photosynthesis) out is working in a nursery school when her lab scientist father comes up with a plan for her to marry his Russian research assistant so he can get the visa needed to stay and bring their research to fruition. Madcaps ensue, he gets to say Kiss me Kate and, well, Alls Well that ends Well. Recommend to Tyler fans, Shakespeare fans, Rom-Com fans and anyone who wants a quick, fun read.
