A Mouthful of Dust by Nghi Vo

4.5

The darkest we've seen of Singing Hills so far. The famine demons are spine-chilling, but still less horrific than the way this book explores what people will do to each other. Vo's prose is more concise and impactful than ever. If this book left me hungry for more, well, that can only be appropriate.
