I think this book is going to stick with me for quite awhile! It's told from Lena's POV of her entire life's story to a woman who is making a movie of her life. It is separated into three sections with each section being a different time in her life. She was originally Bina, a young jewish woman who just happened to look Aryan and used her looks to help with the uprising in the Warsaw ghetto. In order to save others, we becomes and spy and assassin. After the war, she ends up in Hollywood with a different name and becomes a famous actress known for being a femme fatale. The book tells the true story of her life instead of the facade she puts forward and her continuous mission for justice against the Nazis. Her story kept me hooked right from the beginning. The ending was also perfect. It's going to be hard for any other books to come close to this one this year! An amazing historical thriller.
