So… idk how I feel about this book honestly. I listened to the audio and I think all the narrators did extremely well. Although I honestly didn’t care about Elena at all, I really enjoyed Emma Wilder and thought she did a fabulous job and her heartbreak came through loud and clear.
Anyways. I felt like the drama and “angst” went on for way too long and I didn’t really get why they weren’t together sooner? It didn’t really make sense to me.
I’m glad that Gaels memories didn’t suddenly come back and he remembered everything. Instead, he just knew something was wrong but didn’t know WHAT exactly it was. But I felt myself just bored by how long this drama went on FOR. Gael mentions he loved Elena, but wasn’t sure if he was ever IN love with her. Like… dude. Really? Why bother trying?
