I'll start by saying that I'm definitely going to read the next one. For me this book read a bit like an author's first novel. There were times where things seem to jump around and weren't as subtle as some books I've read. I also did not like that there was no trigger warnings at the beginning of this book. I even went back to look because this book for sure has quite a few triggers. That being said I enjoyed the relationships as they were developing and the struggles that the characters went through. There were some areas that feel a little unrealistic and some that are a bit more dramatic than I felt they needed to be. However I can see the books getting better as you learn the characters more. The spice was pretty good. Definitely some extra pink with multiple partners. So I'll definitely read the next book and see how things go.
