Perhaps one of my favourite books by this author, perhaps at least in part because I work in a library!
Daphne thinks she has everything, having moved to a small town to make her life with her fiance, then he jilts her just before the wedding, saying he's in love with his female best friend, and she realises she has no friends and no real life of her own.
She ends up living with the ex-fiance of the best friend, and no prizes for guessing what happens.
Sometimes you don't need to be kept guessing or have too many will they/won't they games, you just want an easy read with a pleasant story and an adult character with some life experience who's hit a few bumps in the road.
