Book(s) 103: Zenobia by Morten Durr AND Jane, the Fox, & Me by Fanny Britt

A couple of more graphic novel reviews coming at you. Again reviewing some of these together to keep things a bit more compact for the end of July.

Zenobia is the story of a Syrian girl, Amina as she struggles with the perils of war. She is put on a boat that will hopefully take her to safety. Zenobia is a great warrior that Amina keeps in her mind as she tries to get through the latest challenges. This book is reviewed for ages 10 and older, and the art is beautifully done. My rating 3⭐️.

Helene is on the receiving end of lots of ridicule from her classmates, her former friends. When she is at summer camp, lost in the pages of Jane Eyre for comfort, she meets a fox. Another girl enters Helene's life and shows her how life can be when you drown out the noise. Reviewed for ages 11 and older. Jane, the Fox, & Me is a nicely drawn graphic novel. My rating 3 ⭐️.
