Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer

5.0

YA contemporary and I don't always get along. I usually find them quite fluffy because romance is normally a central part of the story. Not so with this book. Letters to the Lost goes deep with grief, guilt, shame, insecurities, family dynamics, friendship and communication. Juliet and Declan's stories were so authentic and hard-hitting. Their grief and emotions were so real. Having dealt with some grief myself I could relate to them or at least understand their reactions. I really loved this book.
