Reading this one after reading Not in Love in the same week was such a treat. I liked it better too! It was nice to extend my stay with these characters that I already knew and loved.
Compared to Not in Love, Poblematic Summer Romance did not have much of a plot besides the romance. But that's okay since I believe the 'plot' in Ali Hazelwood books often gets snowed under by the romance regardless.
Maya and Conor make for a great couple. I especially liked Maya; she's funny, opinionated and is damn sure of what she wants and how she is going to get it. Made for a nice contrast to Conor who really needed that push.
