A pretty large departure from the second book. Much more focused on a few characters, not as interested in wrapping up every characters storyline as I would have liked (I feel like Art, Nergal, and Nadia got short changed a bit). Would have like more elaboration on how the economy as outlined by Vlad in book 2 actually got implemented, rather than just the oblique co-op references given. Really enjoyed the back half about Sax, I liked the Lindholme/Sax bits of book 2 and I thought the focus on Ann in the first half of the book was a good lead in.
