Sometimes you start a book and within a few pages, you just know that it will be a 5-star read. That was my experience with Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries. I loved it from the opening chapters and my love only grew as I continued to read. Emily is a very relatable character to me with her social struggles and single-minded fixation on her research.  Bambleby, her exact opposite, is charming and funny. Their relationship is completely endearing too. The supporting characters are also so loveable and I hope we see them all again in a future book.

I loved every second of reading this and I can't wait to continue the series!
