Beautifully written story about a
Post- Revolutionary War midwife, her family, and her town. The struggle for women to have protection and justice.
I did not check the trigger warnings and I still enjoyed the story, however, if a Reader would like to be prepared, I'd recommend checking the trigger warnings, especially as this is based on a true historical figure and the time period was especially difficult for women.
