Holiday Romance by Catherine Walsh

3.0

A friends-to-lovers romance about two friends trying to get to Ireland for the holidays.

Once a year, for the last ten years, Molly has spent hours sitting next to Andrew on the last flight before Christmas from Chicago to Dublin. Nothing romantic has ever happened between them, but this year a freak snowstorm grounds their flight and Molly is determined to make sure they still get home for the holidays. On their way out of the airport they get caught under the mistletoe. To keep with tradition the two kiss and this scrambles something in Molly’s head. She can’t stop thinking about that kiss and it’s apparent Andrew has been pining after Molly for years.

Some friends who have read this book said it’s similar to People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry and I agree. The main difference is the time of year, but the witty banter and friends to lovers over the course of 10 years is the same. So if you enjoyed that story you would probably enjoy this one as well.
