Fangs (Book 2) out now!

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Not to be dramatic, but this book was the most emotionally damaging story I have read so far, and I absolutely loved every second of it.

This story is set in a post-apocalyptic world that follows our female main character, Bones. She was born with magical healing powers and in a world where powers are rare/nonexistent, she is a high target. She's lost her family, gets taken and used by a warlord, gets kidnapped and used by another warlord, and this poor gal just can't catch a break. What she's forced to do is absolutely traumatic and she is constantly in survival mode.

The characters felt so real from their banter to their emotions and their intrusive thoughts. The main male character is SUCH a golden retriever! I have not read a book with an MMC like that and I freaking love it! Also, the found family in this story is just perfect. Once Griz was introduced, all I could see was Dr. Sweet from the Atlantis animated film, a big "scary" guy who is actually just the nicest guy ever 🥹.

This story does end on a cliffhanger, but guess what? Book 2 is already published so there's no need to wait. I will probably never stop recommending this book now that I've read it; it's definitely made it to my top 5 favorite books 🖤.

So with that said, if you're interested in getting your heart ripped out, then punched in the gut, add this book to your TBR or pick it up as your next read!
