This book was a lot of fun! I read it all in one sitting, not necessarily because I couldn't put it down but because I was having too much fun to want to. Scottie and Irene are both great fun, and their friends are too.
This isn't pushing the bounds of literature by any means, some of the prose is clunky in places, and the plot is pretty silly, but the characters feel very vibrant and reading this felt very much like watching a teen romcom. That is to say, delightful.

Graphic: Homophobia and Alcohol
Moderate: Toxic relationship, Drug use, Bullying, and Car accident
Belittling of cheerleading as a sport
A plot point revolves around an antagonist accusing a main character of faking being gay for diversity points.
Another plot point is around perceived infidelity, though no infidelity occurs.
