My Man Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse
4.0
I listened to this audiobook in the car with my husband, as well as while we painted a room in our house. The reader was great, and the humor holds up. My one complaint, and it isn't a true complaint but more a frustration from my husband, was that the stories aren't ALL Jeeves and Wooster. There are some Reggie stories thrown in. They are good, but weren't mentioned in the description on audible...and I had forgotten about them. Jason was more wanting to work his way through Jeeves before we watch the old tv show...and so he was irked when suddenly we were dealing with Reggie.
Also, Jason pointed out that all of the problems that Jeeves is called on to solve when schemes go awry are a result of Jeeves proposing the scheme in the first place. Is Jeeves cleverer than Wooster? Maybe not. Maybe he is just able to get himself out of a pickle...
