Book 2 for me, had a different feel from book 1. Yet, the story was still a page turner and the characters were just as easy to love. I did feel there was a bit of a jump in the FMC’s feelings between the books even though book 2 started where book 1 left off, but it was easy to ignore as the book progresses as it was a needed change to tell book 2’s story. If you like a book that brings drama, this is definitely it. Just sent you think it’s going to calm down, another plot twist happens. I personally love this! Even with some plot twists being a bit predictable, it was still very enjoyable. I’m very curious to check out the authors other works!
