Excellent story about a man that starts shrinking after being exposed to a mist.  I saw the movie adaptation years ago and enjoyed it.  The story dives deeper into the problems his condition causes.  Not just the physical challenges but also the challenges it causes in his relationships with his wife, his kid and interacting with others.  It also goes into the mental challenges that arise as he gets smaller.  I enjoyed the writing.  To my surprise this book is actually a short story collection.  The original story is about 200 pages and then there is a series of much shorter stories.  The 1st one is the short story that was adapted by the Twilight Zone - a man on an airplane sees a creature on the wing destroying the engine.  The short stories in this book are also very well written.  Highly recommend this book of short stories
