Orphan Monster Spy by Matt Killeen

This book was incredible! Wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, but it offered a different portrait of the experience of the pre- and early-war Germans that I found really interesting. The historical note at the back really enhanced the reading experience, especially learning about Lise Meitner's real life impact on the development of the atomic bomb. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys reading WWII historical fiction.
