Steelheart
by Brandon Sanderson
This book is Sanderson's take on the YA Sci-Fi genre. No doubt, Sanderson's strongest point is in world-building... be it sci-fi or fantasy. The man's a genius when it comes to that, and this book just proves the point!
Action scenes are enjoyable, as expected from Sanderson. Story is fast-paced, though it was the last quarter of the story that really had me hooked. This is a bit easier and lighter to read, as compared to his other works. Overall, in my opinion, it's not as mind-blowing as Mistborn, but it's a solid start for a good series.
