If you enjoy Taylor Jenkins Reid then read this! I loved this book and mostly listened to it on audio; finding myself driving around the block when I got home to stay a little longer with the story. I ended up checking out the ebook to read the last few chapters when I was so near the end and had to know what happened next. The romance fan world is full of people talking about grumpy to lovers and the trope is over used and done terribly a lot. Emily Henry gets the tension of two people who don’t know each other and are set on a course of competing with each other just right. She takes the time to develop the story for it to be plausible that they become friends as they get to know each other. But this book is more than a romance trope. The characters are fascinating and the mysteries believable and engrossing and the story a multilayered love story.
